Scott Tompkins joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in October 2025. He is excited about the opportunity to help people make the smart financial decisions that are essential to long-term financial security. Scott has a bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from United States Naval Academy, and a master's degree in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University . He holds Series 6, 63, and 65 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in Virginia and North Carolina. Scott serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. He is committed to coaching clients to pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family he serves. Active in his community, Scott is affiliated with Beach FC as a volunteer soccer coach. In his free time, Scott enjoys, basketball, football and spending time with family.
